This camp is designed for High School students entering 10th and 11th grade in the Fall who will be engaged in 'try-outs' for their High School soccer program, but the camp would also serve as a series of intensive learning sessions for any serious student of the beautiful game.
Each of the 5 camp days will include coaching sessions by experienced 'guest' High School Varsity coaches. Each day will have a specific tactical theme (see schedule below) and will also include a conditioning element. The sessions will intentionally include 'demanding' drills to best prepare players for High School try-outs, conducted in a fun and confidence building setting. The last day of camp will include a mini-tournament to showcase techniques and tactics from the week. Players should come prepared to absorb everything they can from successful and proven youth coaches. This is a one-of-a-kind format where players can learn from the best in High School soccer.
As additional preparation for High School try-outs, a summer 'conditioning plan' will be available to every player who signs up for the camp. Players will also receive a soccer shirt to be worn to the camp sessions.
The fee for the one week camp is $175.00. Checks payable to: Ben Barker, 41 Westledge Road, West Simsbury, CT 06092. Questions? Contact firstname.lastname@example.org or use the contact form below.
